FAQ

How much does it cost?

Group events, typically 1hr 45 minutes, cost $39.50/person. Walk-in sessions, which are one hour, cost $25/person.

What is the minimum and maximum size for private events?

The minimum private group size is eight players.  We can handle groups as large as 80 people.  You can book for up to 24 people online, but must email us for groups larger than that.

What type of payments are accepted?

You’ll need a debit/credit card. We require full payment at the time of your booking.

How long is an axe throwing session?

Group events are 1hr 45 minutes. Walk-in sessions are one hour.

Are there any clothing restrictions?

Yes. For obvious reasons, we can’t let you throw axes in open-toed shoes or sandals. Aside from that, just wear something that’s comfortable and gives you a good range of motion.

Will axes and all necessary equipment be provided?

You betcha. Axes, lanes, and targets will be provided by us!

Will someone teach us how to throw axes?

Yup, before all events and sessions, our axe throwing coaches will teach you some basic technique, as well as some important safety rules.

Is there an age requirement?

You must be at least 10 years of age, and accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.

How safe is axe throwing?

Surprisingly, it’s very safe. Competitive axe throwing businesses have operated without incident for over ten years in Canada. Follow our strict safety rules, and you can be just as safe as the Canadians!

Can we bring our own axes?

Nope, for safety and insurance purposes, you must use our axes. They’re nice axes. 

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel your event at least two weeks beforehand, we will refund your payment. Within two weeks of the event, we will not refund you, but we will reschedule you at our discretion.

Can I bring people who are planning to be spectators rather than players?

Sure you can bring up to two (2) fans… umm, spectators with your group free of charge.  Any additional spectators after the first two will be charged the full amount of $39.50/person for the booked time or $25/person for a walk-in session.

How can I book an axe throwing event?

Can we bring our own food or alcohol?

You are not allowed to bring in drinks of any kind. We have a full service bar with domestic beers, local craft brews, hard seltzers, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. You can bring takeout from our local Downtown Monroe restaurants, and we also have menus on hand for local food venues that deliver fast!!

What are your cleaning practices?

We are very dedicated to our cleaning practices. We disinfect all touched surfaces (bars, chairs, counters, railings, bathrooms, etc.) with disinfectant wipes before, during and after all sessions. All axes are also cleaned. We have hand sanitizer available to all.
